Based on a comparison of 36 countries in 2013, Latvia ranked the highest in deaths by cancer of ovary per 100,000 female with 16.5 followed by Lithuania and Hungary. On the other end of the scale was South Africa with 2.53, Costa Rica with 2.93 and Brazil with 3.11.
