Based on a comparison of 142 countries in 2013, East Timor ranked the highest in portfolio investments as a share of GDP with 185% followed by Malta and Macao. On the other end of the scale was Luxembourg with -159%, Cyprus with -65.0% and Mauritius with -15.5%.
