Based on a comparison of 141 countries in 2013, East Timor ranked the highest in portfolio investments as a share of GDP with 45.7% followed by Malta and Macao. On the other end of the scale was Luxembourg with -159%, Cyprus with -64.5% and Mauritius with -15.5%.
