Based on a comparison of 34 countries in 2014, Denmark ranked the highest in household liabilities as of GDP with 140% followed by Switzerland and Netherlands. On the other end of the scale was Romania with 18.3%, Turkey with 19.2% and Hungary with 29.4%.
