Based on a comparison of 116 countries in 2019, Norway ranked the highest in public spending on education as a share of GDP with 7.91% followed by Denmark and Sierra Leone. On the other end of the scale was South Sudan with 0.981%, Bangladesh with 1.33% and Dem. Republic of the Congo with 1.45%.
