Based on a comparison of 172 countries in 2020, Libya ranked the highest in government revenue as a share of GDP with 62.0% followed by Kuwait and Norway. On the other end of the scale was Yemen with 5.73%, Nigeria with 5.92% and Sudan with 6.84%.
