Based on a comparison of 16 countries in 2012, Czech Republic ranked the highest in tobacco consumption per capita of 15+ years old with 2,328 grammes followed by South Korea and Germany. On the other end of the scale was New Zealand with 803 grammes, United Kingdom with 970 grammes and Norway with 994 grammes.
