Based on a comparison of 10 banks among CEE Savings Banks in 2017, Sberbank had the most employees, followed by Erste Group Bank and OTP Group.

Sberbank employed 310,277 persons in 2017, down 4.55% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 330,677 persons in 2015 and an all time low of 197,076 in 2001.

Average cost reached 1,625 per month per employee, 18.3% more than a year ago. This figure was 1,073 some 10 years ago.
