Based on a comparison of 28 countries in 2019, Luxembourg ranked the highest in diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold with 54.0% followed by Ireland and Bulgaria. On the other end of the scale was Netherlands with 7.36%, Norway with 16.0% and Finland with 18.3%.
