Based on a comparison of 37 countries in 2014, Germany ranked the highest in electricity production from solar photovoltaic with 34,930 GWh followed by China and Italy. On the other end of the scale was Egypt with 56.4 GWh, Turkey with 58.7 GWh and Sweden with 63.6 GWh.
