Total production of heavy commercial vehicles reached 3,744 '000 in 2012 in the World according to ACEA. This is 7.05 % less than in the previous year and 40.8 % more than 10 years ago.
Historically, total production of heavy commercial vehicles reached an all time high of 4,257 '000 in 2010 and an all time low of 1,929 '000 in 1999. The average annual growth amounted to 5.23 % since 1960.
