Based on a comparison of 151 countries in 2022, Belarus ranked the highest in military expenditures as a share of government expenditure with 32.1% followed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar. On the other end of the scale was Mauritius with 0.586%, Haiti with 0.693% and Moldova with 0.875%.
