Based on a comparison of 18 banks among Indonesian Financials in 2018, Bank Rakyat was the largest deposit taker, followed by Bank Mandiri and Bank Central Asia.
Bank Rakyat's customer deposits reached IDR 944,269 bil, up from IDR 841,656 bil, compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of IDR 944,269 bil in 2018 and an all time low of IDR 49,217 bil in 2000.
Comparing Bank Rakyat with its closest peers, Bank Mandiri's deposits amounted to IDR 840,914 bil at the end of 2018, Bank Central Asia operated with IDR 635,029 bil of customer deposits and Bank Negara had clients' deposits of IDR 578,775 bil at the end of 2018.
