Based on a comparison of 9 banks among CEE Savings Banks in 2017, Sberbank was the largest mortgage lender, followed by PKO BP and Ceska Sporitelna.

Sberbank's mortgage loans reached HUF 15,007,970 mil, up from HUF 11,549,202 mil compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s mortgage loans reached an all time high of HUF 15,007,970 mil in 2017 and an all time low of HUF 1,186,460 mil in 2006.
