Based on a comparison of 165 countries in 2021, Guatemala ranked the highest in sugar consumption per capita with 52.4 kg followed by Cuba and Gambia. On the other end of the scale was Dem. Republic of the Congo with 2.23 kg, Guinea Bissau with 2.29 kg and Myanmar with 2.91 kg.
