Historically, workers' remittances received in India reached an all time high of 70,389 USD mil in 2014 and an all time low of 430 USD mil in 1975. When compared to India's main peers, workers' remittances received in Bangladesh amounted to 13,498 USD mil, 28,666 USD mil in China, 19,689 USD mil in Pakistan and 7,190 USD mil in Sri Lanka in 2017.
