Ziraat Bank's retail deposits reached TRY 157,167 mil in 2017, up 19.4% compared to the previous year.
Turkish banking sector accepted retail deposits of TRY 945 bil in 2017, up 17.2% when compared to the last year.
Ziraat Bank accounted for 16.6% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Turkey at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 17.6% in 2015 and an all time low of 12.2% in 2013.
That's compared to a 14.0% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
