PPF Banka employed 210 persons in 2016, up 7.14% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 210 persons in 2016 and an all time low of 64.0 in 2002.

Average cost reached CZK 140,079 per month per employee, 8.73% more than a year ago. This figure was CZK 131,843 per month some 10 years ago.

Staff accounted for 36.9% of total operating expenditures in 2016.

Comparing PPF Banka with its closest peers, J&T Banka had 717 employees with average cost of CZK 109,949 per month per person, Stavebni Sporitelna Ceske Sporitelny operated with 175 people (and CZK 100,476 per month per employee) and Moravsky Penezni Ustav had 104 employees in 2016 with cost of CZK 96,787 per month per head.

Profi Credit Czech's non-performing loans reached 73.2% of total loans at the end of 2016, up from 70.1% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 73.2% in 2016 and an all time low of 32.7% in 2007.

Provision coverage amounted to 67.7% at the end of 2016, up from 60.1% compared to a year earlier.

Comparing Profi Credit Czech with its closest peers, Profireal Group operated at the end of 2016 with NPL ratio of 67.7% and provision coverage of 64.9%, Provident Financial Czech Republic with 40.9% and 100% and Essox had 26.3% of bad loans covered with 94.4% by provisions at the end of 2016.

Non-performing loans of the whole Czechia’s banking sector amounted to 4.59% of total loans in 2016, down from 5.48% when compared to the last year.

Provident Financial Czech Republic's net interest margin amounted to 44.0% in 2017, down from 53.8% when compared to the previous year.

Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 53.8% in 2016 and an all time low of 0.096% in 2010. The average margin in the last five years amounted to 45.3%.

Average asset yield was 49.7% in 2017, down from 59.5% when compared to previous year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 9.56% in 2017, up from 8.62%.
