Ceska Sporitelna reported total revenues of CZK 37,227 mil, down 2.62% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of CZK 45,650 mil in 2009 and an all time low of CZK 19,112 mil in 2000. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to CZK 39,644 mil.

Bank's total revenues accounted for 2.80% of total assets in 2017, down from 3.58% a year earlier.

Comparing Ceska Sporitelna with its closest peers, CSOB generated total revenues of CZK 37,199 mil, or 2.83% of assets in 2017, Komercni Banka operated with CZK 31,060 mil total income, or 3.09% revenue margin and UniCredit Czech Republic produced total income worth CZK 18,621 mil, or 2.77% of assets.

Czech banking sector generated total revenues of CZK 179,177 mil in 2017, down 0.560% when compared to the previous year. As a result, the top ranked company - Ceska Sporitelna accounted for 20.8% of the sector’s total income in 2017. The top 3 companies held a 58.9% share while the five largest firms some 75.6% in 2017.

Hypotecni Banka's cost to income ratio reached 22.1% in 2017, down from 21.1% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 1,607% in 1997 and an all time low of 15.5% in 2011.

When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 2017, down from 0.429% a year earlier.

Comparing Hypotecni Banka with its closest peers, PPF Banka operated in 2017 with a cost to income ratio of 31.4%, Stavebni Sporitelna Ceske Sporitelny reached 37.2% and J&T Banka some 40.8%.

The average cost to income ratio reached 45.2% in the Czech banking sector in 2017.
