Almond production reached 139,029 tonnes in 2018 in Iran, according to Faostat. This is 7.30 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, almond production in Iran reached an all time high of 175,720 tonnes in 2006 and an all time low of 6,000 tonnes in 1966. When compared to Iran's main peers, almond production in Iraq amounted to 449 tonnes, 20,615 tonnes in Pakistan and 1,084 tonnes in Turkmenistan in 2018.
