Almond production reached 126 tonnes in 2018 in Kazakhstan, according to Faostat. This is 15.6 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, almond production in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of 320 tonnes in 2006 and an all time low of 100 tonnes in 2008. When compared to Kazakhstan's main peers, almond production in China amounted to 49,879 tonnes, 1,776 tonnes in Kyrgyzstan and 19,446 tonnes in Uzbekistan in 2018.
