Historically, primary aluminium production in Indonesia reached an all time high of 264 kt in 2014 and an all time low of 0 kt in 1979. When compared to Indonesia's main peers, primary aluminium production in Australia amounted to 1,646 kt and 440 kt in Malaysia in 2015.
