White arsenic production reached 25,000 tonnes in 2015 in China, according to the National Statistical Office. This is the same as in the previous year.
Historically, white arsenic production in China reached an all time high of 40,000 tonnes in 2000 and an all time low of 7,000 tonnes in 1987. When compared to China's main peers, white arsenic production in Japan amounted to 45.0 tonnes and 1,500 tonnes in Russia in 2015.
