Asbestos production reached 377 tonnes in 2013 in Zimbabwe, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1,157% more than in the previous year.
Historically, asbestos production in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 250,949 tonnes in 1980 and an all time low of 30.0 tonnes in 2012.
