Average Length of Hospital Stay (Infectious and Parasitic Diseases)

Based on a comparison of 27 countries in 2013, Lithuania ranked the highest in average length of hospital stay for infectious and parasitic diseases with 13.0 days followed by Hungary and Italy. On the other end of the scale was Turkey with 3.50 days, New Zealand with 4.60 days and Mexico with 4.80 days.
