Based on a comparison of 8 countries in 2017, Hungary ranked the highest in bank account penetration with 98.2% followed by Benin and Bangladesh. On the other end of the scale was Mexico with 2.65%, Myanmar with 2.94% and Madagascar with 3.32%.
