Historically, bank assets as a share of GDP in Slovakia reached an all time high of 108 % in 1996 and an all time low of 79.0 % in 2003. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, bank assets as a share of GDP in Czech Republic amounted to 140 % and 80.0 % in Poland in 2018.
