Bank Assets (As % of GDP) in Ukraine

Bank assets as a share of GDP reached 47.4 % in 2017 in Ukraine, according to the National Central Bank. This is 11.4 % less than in the previous year.

Historically, bank assets as a share of GDP in Ukraine reached an all time high of 93.3 % in 2008 and an all time low of 46.7 % in 2005. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, bank assets as a share of GDP in Poland amounted to 91.2 %, 51.6 % in Romania and 84.1 % in Russia in 2017.
