Bank credit card penetration reached 14.6% in 2017 in Hungary, according to the National Central Bank. This is 3.72% more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank credit card penetration in Hungary reached an all time high of 17.3% in 2008 and an all time low of 2.64% in 2000.
