Bank deposits reached USD 7,445 bil in 2012 in Japan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 8.95% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank deposits in Japan reached an all time high of USD 8,177 bil in 2011 and an all time low of USD 20.7 bil in 1961.
