Bank deposits reached 441 USD bil in 2017 in Turkey, according to the National Central Bank. This is 9.69 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank deposits in Turkey reached an all time high of 442 USD bil in 2014 and an all time low of 1.71 USD bil in 1965. When compared to Turkey's main peers, bank deposits in Bulgaria amounted to 46.9 USD bil and 180 USD bil in Greece in 2017.
