Bank equity as a share of bank assets reached 15.0 % in 2018 in Armenia, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.39 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Armenia reached an all time high of 23.0 % in 2008 and an all time low of 9.43 % in 2001. When compared to Armenia's main peers, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Georgia amounted to 12.9 % and 10.8 % in Turkey in 2018.
