Bank equity reached 8.86 LTL bil in 2017 in Lithuania, according to the National Central Bank. This is 15.4 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank equity in Lithuania reached an all time high of 8.95 LTL bil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.113 LTL bil in 1992. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, bank equity in Belarus amounted to 89,776 BYR bil, 2.86 EUR bil in Estonia, 3.05 LVL bil in Latvia and 8,185 RUB bil in Russia in 2017.
