Bank loans as a share of bank deposits reached 80.4 % in 2017 in Kosovo, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.77 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loans as a share of bank deposits in Kosovo reached an all time high of 85.1 % in 2011 and an all time low of 76.4 % in 2013. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, bank loans as a share of bank deposits in Albania amounted to 45.8 %, 87.7 % in Macedonia, 67.4 % in Montenegro and 128 % in Serbia in 2017.
