Real bank loans growth reached -4.26% in 2012 in the European Union, according to the National Central Bank. This is 19.2% less than in the previous year.
Historically, real bank loans growth in the European Union reached an all time high of 9.11% in 2006 and an all time low of -5.50% in 2008.
