Bank loans reached EUR 24,288 bil in 2012 in the European Union, according to the National Central Bank. This is 0.842% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loans in the European Union reached an all time high of EUR 24,494 bil in 2011 and an all time low of EUR 12,012 bil in 1999.
