Bank loans to general government reached EUR 392 bil in 2011 in Germany, according to the National Central Bank. This is 11.5% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loans to general government in Germany reached an all time high of EUR 509 bil in 1999 and an all time low of EUR 359 bil in 2009.
