Bank pre-tax ROE reached 16.8 % in 2018 in Lithuania, according to the National Central Bank. This is 34.1 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank pre-tax ROE in Lithuania reached an all time high of 27.6 % in 2007 and an all time low of -59.6 % in 2009. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, bank pre-tax ROE in Belarus amounted to 13.6 %, 13.3 % in Estonia, 9.54 % in Latvia and 13.0 % in Russia in 2018.
