Bank tier 1 capital reached NGN 3,196 bil in 2020 in Nigeria, according to the National Central Bank. This is 9.06% more than in the previous year.

Historically, bank tier 1 capital in Nigeria reached an all time high of NGN 3,429 bil in 2016 and an all time low of NGN 229 bil in 2010.
