Based on a comparison of 81 countries in 2022, Maldives ranked the highest in bank tier 1 ratio with 36.2% followed by Papua New Guinea and Mozambique. On the other end of the scale was Bangladesh with 7.44%, Honduras with 8.99% and Russia with 9.70%.
