Banks' risk-weighted assets reached 4,862,315 VND bil in 2016 in Vietnam, according to the National Central Bank. This is 11.5 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Vietnam reached an all time high of 4,862,315 VND bil in 2016 and an all time low of 1,244,967 VND bil in 2008. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, banks' risk-weighted assets in Cambodia amounted to 78,430 KHR bil, 111,028 CNY bil in China and 11,832 THB bil in Thailand in 2016.
