Basic price of pigs reached 2,168 EUR/t in 2015 in Iceland, according to Eurostat. This is 6.61 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, basic price of pigs in Iceland reached an all time high of 2,583 EUR/t in 2007 and an all time low of 1,354 EUR/t in 2010. When compared to Iceland's main peers, basic price of pigs in Denmark amounted to 1,433 EUR/t, 3,085 EUR/t in Norway, 1,256 EUR/t in Sweden and 1,736 EUR/t in United Kingdom in 2015.
