Bismuth production reached 568 tonnes in 2015 in Japan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 2.41 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, bismuth production in Japan reached an all time high of 816 tonnes in 1974 and an all time low of 338 tonnes in 1980. When compared to Japan's main peers, bismuth production in China amounted to 1,500 tonnes and 45.0 tonnes in Russia in 2015.
