Catches in major fishing areas reached 397,731 Tonnes live weight in 2015 in Turkey, according to Eurostat. This is 49.5% more than in the previous year.

Historically, catches in major fishing areas in Turkey reached an all time high of 891,360 Tonnes live weight in 2010 and an all time low of 266,078 Tonnes live weight in 2014.
