Based on a comparison of 16 countries in 2016, Turkey ranked the highest in number of dairy cows with 5,407 '000 followed by Germany and France. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 26.3 '000, Sweden with 331 '000 and Belgium with 522 '000.
