Historically, cereal yield in Cyprus reached an all time high of 2,964 kg per ha in 1993 and an all time low of 107 kg per ha in 1973. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, cereal yield in Egypt amounted to 7,263 kg per ha, 4,458 kg per ha in Greece, 3,735 kg per ha in Israel and 2,956 kg per ha in Turkey in 2014.
