Total cigarette consumption reached 22,400 mil in 2016 in Romania, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 2.75% more than in the previous year.
Historically, total cigarette consumption in Romania reached an all time high of 37,400 mil in 2004 and an all time low of 21,800 mil in 2015.
