Historically, citrus fruit production in Cuba reached an all time high of 1,013 kt in 1990 and an all time low of 93.0 kt in 1961. When compared to Cuba's main peers, citrus fruit production in Dominican Republic amounted to 168 kt, 152 kt in Jamaica, 8,110 kt in Mexico and 7,514 kt in USA in 2016.
