Coconut oil production reached 1,280 tonnes in 2014 in Suriname, according to Faostat. This is 15.9% more than in the previous year.
Historically, coconut oil production in Suriname reached an all time high of 3,195 tonnes in 1962 and an all time low of 419 tonnes in 2012.
