Consumer loans reached 2,323 HUF bil in 2017 in Hungary, according to the National Central Bank. This is 7.63 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, consumer loans in Hungary reached an all time high of 3,721 HUF bil in 2010 and an all time low of 407 HUF bil in 2000. When compared to Hungary's main peers, consumer loans in Austria amounted to 20.4 EUR bil, 379 CZK bil in Czech Republic, 278 PLN bil in Poland and 7.70 EUR bil in Slovakia in 2017.
