Corporate loans reached 82.0 EUR bil in 2017 in Greece, according to the National Central Bank. This is 6.21 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, corporate loans in Greece reached an all time high of 116 EUR bil in 2010 and an all time low of 2.55 EUR bil in 1980. When compared to Greece's main peers, corporate loans in Albania amounted to 367 ALL bil, 31.0 BGN bil in Bulgaria, 156 MKD bil in Macedonia and 1,571 TRY bil in Turkey in 2017.
Greece has been ranked 60th within the group of 91 countries we follow in terms of corporate loans, 20 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
